Installed this for my weekend projects, and wow it was easy with this. Felt strong and I saw the difference with my garage opening immediaty

This worked great on our old insulated doors. We are trying to make them last a few more years before we replace them altogether and this helped a lot.

Unit match existing hole and bolted right up. Cable fit perfect, did not change out old cable
it was in good shape and did not want to take chance with cable giving problem.
I took my vise-grips and clamp them good on main shaft and turn it then let it rest on the rail.
This gave me enough took unhook cable from the old bracket then put on new bracket and bolted
in place. Just make sure have good clamp on the shaft. This work for me

This bracket survived heavy doors and constant operation at a warehouse. Solid metal, top performance.
